Many primary source materials are available here, including sheet music, song sheets, sound files and recordings of songs, images and films. They are organized into a number of separate collections, devoted to areas such as: California Gold: Northern California Folk Music from the Thirties; Dayton C. Miller Flute Collection; Southern Mosaic: The John and Ruby Lomax 1939 Southern States Recording Trip; Historic American Sheet Music, 1850-1920; America Singing: Nineteenth-Century Song Sheets, and many more! The History
of Costume
"The 'History of Costume' was originally printed from 1861 to 1880
in Munich, and consisted of historical dress from antiquity to the end
of the 19th century. It is an excellent source for students who are studying
the history of fashion and for costume designers."

the classic form of Japanese theatre known as "Kabuki". "Kabuki plays and
