BUBL Information Resources (Dewey Guide)
Internet resources selected and organized by our BUBL friends in England, with a distinctively "European" feel to it (of course!) A great jumping off place for European and other information.

California Learning Resource Network (CLRN)
Provides "a one-stop information source that enables California educators to identify supplemental electronic learning resources that both meet local instructional needs and embody the implementation of California curriculum frameworks and standards."

Calisphere
Provided by the University of California Office of the President, this site offers a large selection of websites from the many parts of the university system, including departments, projects, museums, libraries and individuals. The emhasis is on primary sources, but it includes many different types of information and learning resources.

ECB Surf Report: Web Sites for Teachers
Collection of pre-selected and screened links for use by Wisconsin's students and teachers. Provided by  the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board. The site opens with highlights of recent information resources and Web sites. Please note the subject categories to the upper left.

Federal Resources for Educational Excellence (FREE)
On April 18, 1997, President Clinton asked Federal agencies to determine what "resources you can make available that would enrich the Internet as a tool for teaching and learning." In response, more than 30 Federal agencies formed a working group to make hundreds of federally supported education resources available at this web site.

Federal Web Locator
A very comprehensive guide to federal or government information. Created as a service provided by the Center for Information Law and Policy and intended to be the one stop shopping point for federal government information on the World Wide Web.

INFOMINE

Internet Scout Report

Internet Public Library
Very well-organized graphical interface makes this an enjoyable site to link into. Sections of interest to educators include: Reference Center, Reading Room, Searching Tools, KidSpace, TeenSpace, Subject Collections, and Special Collections.

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators
This is a highly acclaimed, well organized and categorized list of sites on the Internet. According to Schrock, "It is updated daily to keep up with the  tremendous number of new World Wide Web sites."

Kids Click
One of the very best for teachers and kids: A Web Guide and Search Tool for kids by librarians. KidsClick! was initiated under a Federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant obtained by the Ramapo Catskill Library System.

Librarians' Internet Index
A searchable, annotated subject directory of more than 10,000 Internet resources selected and evaluated by librarians for their usefulness to users of public libraries. Offers an excellent organization of preselected, regularly updated collection of links to Web information resources.

Library of Congress Web
The entry point to the Library of Congress, our nation's leading library. Lots of full-text and graphical resources, exhibits, and of course, databases.

SCORE: Schools of California Online Resources for Education:
Some links may be outdated, but still valuable. This is a network of educator created online educational resource centers in California. Their aim is to link quality information from the World Wide Web to California K-12 curriculum.
