The Chico Unified
School District requires that students pass six different computer proficiency
tests before they may be graduated. Some of the tests are required, while
others are optional.
Two of the tests relate
to information literacy skills. The CHS Library helps students to gain
the knowledge and skills to pass these tests. Optimally, this is done by
working with the teachers and their classes in the context of class assignments.
The Social Science Department has agreed to try and have their students
pass these tests during their World History classes. This is usually done
as part of a library research unit, and in collaboration with the librarian.
The following links are
provided as resources to our students who are learning about, studying
for and practicing for two of their CUSD Graduation Computer Proficiency
tests.
