Eight Stages of Genocide
Genocide is a process that develops in eight stages that are predictable but not inevitable. At each stage, preventive measures can stop it. This page describes each stage. Be sure to see the chart of genocide since 1945.

International Crisis Group: Reports by Region 
The International Crisis Group (ICG) is an independent, non-profit, multinational organisation, with over 100 staff members on five continents, working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict. Teams of political analysts are located within or close by countries at risk of outbreak, escalation or recurrence of violent conflict. Based on information and assessments from the field, ICG produces regular analytical reports containing practical recommendations targeted at key international decision-takers.

International Committee of the Red Cross- Video 
This section offers a selection of recent ICRC video documents including news and feature material, information on current campaigns, historical background and operational issues. Includes reports on wiotnesses to genocide. This page links to audio and photos as well.

Institute for War and Peace Reporting
Includes reports and transcripts of war crimes trials, including some testimpony by witnesses. 

Human Rights Watch: Country Pages
Human Rights Watch researchers conduct fact-finding investigations into human rights abuses in all regions of the world. They then publish those findings in dozens of books and reports every year, generating extensive coverage in local and international media. This publicity helps to embarrass abusive governments in the eyes of their citizens and the world. You can read their reports at this site.
