President Bush has called upon the American people to consider public service and volunteerism. Although many people think that all work in this area is unpaid, there are many jobs that provide compensation, either a moderate salary and/or living costs. This page lists some of those opportunities for you to consider.

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps - Basic Information

AmeriCorps State and National
AmeriCorps members are sponsored by national, state, and local nonprofit organizations. In order to meet the specific needs of the communities they serve, local AmeriCorps sponsors recruit and train AmeriCorps members themselves.

YMCA Career Pathways

Youth Conservation Corps Program (USFS)
